This page explains what personal data coVR Videos collects through this website, why, and the rights you have over it. We keep data collection to a minimum.

Who we are

The data controller is coVR Videos SRL, Tudor Arghezi 11, et. M, ap. 12, Sector 2, Bucharest 020941, Romania (CUI 37811877). For any privacy question, contact us at contact@covr.ro.

The newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address for the sole purpose of sending you occasional updates about coVR's films, screenings and workshops.

  • Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the consent box and confirming via the double opt-in email.
  • Double opt-in: after you sign up, you receive an email asking you to confirm. You are only added to the list once you click that link.
  • Processor: the list is managed by MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, Lithuania, EU), acting as our data processor under a data processing agreement. See the MailerLite privacy policy.
  • Retention: we keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
  • Unsubscribe: every newsletter contains a one-click unsubscribe link. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs for security and to keep the site running. This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Who your data is shared with

We do not sell or share your personal data. It is only processed by the service providers needed to run the newsletter (MailerLite) and to host the site. Where a provider is outside the EU, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by the GDPR.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email contact@covr.ro. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian Data Protection Authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).

We may update this policy from time to time. The date above reflects the latest version.
